How does boat make profits every year? boAt made a profit of 68 Crores in 2022. But, boAt spent only 3.6% on marketing. Aman Gupta Mathworld: 38 Million True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Units shipped in India in 2022. boAt - 46% Market Share Total Shipment = 46% of 3.8 Crore = 1.7 Crore. boat would have shipped upto, 1.7 Crore units. Profits - How? Let's assume boAt added just 200 Rs, to every product to compensate for celebrity endorsement charges. Extra Revenue = 1.7 Crore * 200 =  340 Crores. boAt will be making extra 340 Crores easily to compensate for spending 99 Crores on marketing. By roping in celebrities, boAt has built a lifestyle brand, which makes profit every year.

Few days ago Hindenberg released a report which said that the Adani group engaged in bold stock manipulation and accounting fraud all the time. This research firm is actively short- selling Adani stocks through US bonds & Non-Indian traded assets. Impact:  Adani's share prices fell 18.5% yesterday. Investors lost upto 4.2 Lk Cr in 2 days.  His FPO was undersubscribed upto only 1% yesterday. Despite the accusations, LIC has still planned to invest 370 crores in the FPO. Nifty 50 lost 1.6% because of bankers who have invested heavily on Adani. Does the future of market benchmarks in India now rely only on IT & FMCG?
